A couple of years ago Racing Post created a cutting edge football betting app. They needed a name and a campaign to help launch it. Football Bet was conceived. A name and a big idea that put the product at the centre of the advertising with an irreverent Brazilian football theme to add a bit of charm and fun. Fictional Brazilian TV presenter called Senor Puntinho was signed to front the campaign and Fooooooooooootbaaaaaaalllllll Bet became his familiar catchphrase. The campaign ran across TV, digital and print.

Sr. Puntinho and his bongo playing wingman were at the centre of the print advertising which ran in the Racing Post inventory and Sport magazine.
Alongside the print advertising Puntinho had a larger than life twitter presence, his own microsite and cult following. He kept subscribers up to date with football news and latest betting odds.
